Back in 1985 the Family behind Britannia Fireworks & Events began providing displays locally in Nottinghamshire. A reputation grew very fast and the hobby sooned turned into a business. Barrie Smith and Son Lee Smith began firing displays for local schools and Football teams, mainly for Bonfire Night but as the reputation grew so did the demand for displays. Soon the team began running displays for larger events, corporate launches and other local busniesses.

 

In the last twenty plus years the team behind Britannia designed and created the Britannia Brand to bring high quality, imaginative, and interesting fireworks to the Public. The Britannia Brand can now be found in firework retailers accross the UK. We have now increased and added to the company bringing the skills gained over years of providing professional displays and mail order fireworks, now direct from a well trusted firework brand and provider.

 

In recent years the team behind Britannia and the professional team have fired accross the UK and provided fireworks for displays in Italy, Africa, Ireland and the UK mainland. The team have worked at many bespoke venues including RAF Cranwell, Stoke Podges, Newark Castle,  Nottingham Market Square,

 

We have also supplied fireworks for many events and clients accross the UK to include Nissan UK, GK Group, American SAdventure, Ikea, 3M and many more. The team also helped provide Displays at the British Pyromusical Championships in 2003 & 2004 (during 2004 our assistance ed to the team we were involved with taking 1st place!)
