Las Fallas Fireworks Displays 2008 Report
21 March 2008
Well the yearly Firework Trip to Valencia is sadly over, the fireworks and daylight firework Masceleta shows are inspiring and amazing to say the least and after 13 years running a fireworks company I never get bored of watching them. The last night of the Fireworks otherwise known as 'Nit de foc' or 'Night of Fire' sees the culmination of the largest of the four night time fireworks displays, the city is bulging with 1000's and 1000's of eager spectators spread all around the dry riverbed. We found our place some 1.5 hours before hand just so we could get close, although not as close as we hoped as some people had been there for 2 hours or more. Vincente Cabbaler was in charge of the show tonight and we had already been to site and was impressed with what we saw. Lots of single shot material arranged accross 3 locations in the site, a vast number of shells from 50mm to 300mm and frames full of Roman Candles, also we saw lots of crown wheels which always go down well. In the show itself was lots of individual special shells, 300mm shells full of multibreak shells with an array of colour and noise effects. Lots of colour matched sequencing and of course noise, loads and loads of noise and this really gets the crowd going.
